Calgary Stampede

Choice Properties celebrated the Calgary Stampede this year by hosting three main events. On July 7, both Retail & Industrial Leasing teams hosted major tenants i.e. Goodlife, Kal Tire, Willowbrae, Happy Belly Group and main industry brokers for an afternoon at the Rodeo. On July 8, we kicked off the 20-year celebration of Creekside Shopping Centre with the 1st Annual Stampede Breakfast followed by our Stampede wrap up event on July 11 for our 8th Annual Stampede Breakfast at Mahogany Village.  

These breakfasts showcased the best of the best for our assets and the important role they play within the community, serving over 3,000 flapjack meals between the two events. The energy was fantastic with live music, a petting zoo, and dance performances.  

Creekside was marked by a beautiful mural by Calgary-based artist Elena Bushan, who hosted a “mural jam” inviting guests to paint a small section of the mural—view the finished artwork here.
