Scarborough Proud was a six-week activation held during the summer of 2024 at Golden Mile Plaza. A portion of the parking lot was transformed into a vibrant, free gathering space where the local community could connect, play, and celebrate its rich mosaic of cultures. At a time when 43% of Canadians reported never seeing their neighbours, the activation created a lively, accessible, and inclusive environment that fostered a true sense of community and belonging.
